State Work-Study Pays. Receive reimbursement for student earnings.

Pennsylvania employers, both for-profit and non-profit organizations, can employ Pennsylvania residents enrolled in a PHEAA-approved postsecondary institution. The State Work-Study Program provides students with career-related work experience and allows students to earn funds to assist in meeting the costs of their postsecondary education.

The State Work-Study Program is a great option for Pennsylvania employers:

  • Reimbursement of 40 or 50 percent of approved student earnings
  • Employ students pursuing a degree in their field of study, allowing hands-on experience
  • Free online job postings made available to college students
