The Act 101 Program is a state-funded program which allocates funds to Pennsylvania schools that operate an Act 101 Program at their institution. Act 101 programs offer assistance to students that are economically and/or educationally disadvantaged.

The BDBG Program is a Commonwealth funded program that provides financial assistance to deaf or blind students attending a postsecondary institution.

The Chafee Education and Training Grant Program is a federally funded program administered by PHEAA in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) to provide educational funding for eligible students aging out of foster care.

PHEAA and the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veteran Affairs (DMVA) jointly administer the EAP to provide tuition assistance for members of the Pennsylvania National Guard.

Together with the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, PHEAA administers this tuition assistance program for dependents (spouses and children) of PA Guard Members who enter into an additional 6-year service commitment with the Pennsylvania National Guard (PANG).
