State Grant Update

2017-18 Academic Year - The Pennsylvania General Assembly appropriates funds to PHEAA for the Pennsylvania State Grant Program. All Fall, Winter, and Spring awards are now finalized. If your Spring award has changed, PHEAA will notify you by email. If eligible, award money will be sent directly to your school. Your school will credit your account after first certifying your eligibility.

2018-19 Academic Year - If you have submitted your 2018-19 FAFSA® (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and all requested documentation to PHEAA, you will receive an eligibility notice beginning in May. You may check your status in Account Access.

A grant is a type of financial aid award that you don't need to repay, as long as you meet all of the eligibility requirements.
