Your Student Aid Report is the result of your FAFSA. It is important to correct any errors on your Student Aid Report because they could impact your student aid eligibility.
Correction Guidelines
- Make corrections only if the information was incorrect as of the day you filed.
- You cannot correct your Social Security Number. You must complete a new application with the correct number.
- You cannot change financial information or marital status unless it was wrong when you filed.

Adding or Changing School Information
You can add or delete the schools that will receive your Student Aid Report either using Corrections on the Web or by phone. You will need the school’s six-digit Federal School Code. Do one of the following:
