Financial Aid Events

Applying for financial aid is a process that all families go through when preparing to send children on to a college or university. In order to help families, many Pennsylvania high schools host financial aid nights each year, from September thru March, where presenters provide an overview of the aid process and information on state and federal student aid that is available to residents of the Commonwealth.

Regional Directors from PHEAA are guest speakers for over two hundred of these school events during the year. By attending an aid night where a Regional Director is a speaker, families will receive a portfolio of information and materials to take home as well as a contact who can serve as a resource person. Families should contact the high school to find out when an aid night will be held.
