College Fairs
Pennsylvania high school students and their parents should take advantage of the many free college fairs offered throughout the state. Families can speak with representatives from numerous institutions, ask questions, obtain brochures and admissions materials, and get on college mailing lists.
PHEAA Regional Directors also attend many of these college fairs to provide information on paying for higher education.

College Fair Tips
- Take a shopping bag for the loads of materials you will collect.
- When you arrive, locate the schools you are most interested in and go to them first.
- Ask questions, take notes, and pick up brochures.
- Add your name to lots of mailing lists. (Bring adhesive address labels to avoid writer's cramp.)
- When you get home, organize and file your materials so you can easily access them when it's time to start making decisions.
