Work-Study Employers

PHEAA applauds your interest in providing real-life work experiences, as well as additional financial aid funds, to students pursuing higher education in Pennsylvania institutions. Through two programs—the State Work-Study Program (SWSP) and the Community Service Program—Pennsylvania employers can employ Pennsylvania residents enrolled in a PHEAA-approved postsecondary institution.

The State Work-Study Program is available for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations and businesses. The Community Service Program assists Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations to employ Pennsylvania students in positions with vital services that may not otherwise have been available.
