PHEAA Welcomes Representative Matt Bradford to Board of Directors

Harrisburg, PA (February 21, 2013)—PHEAA announced today that State Representative Matt Bradford has been appointed to its Board of Directors by the Speaker of the House, Sam Smith.

Representative Bradford represents the 70th Legislative District in Central Montgomery County and serves on the Appropriations, Judiciary, Consumer Affairs and Environmental Resources & Energy committees.

Representative Bradford's position on the PHEAA Board of Directors allows him to use his experience as an advocate for families to serve hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvania students throughout the Commonwealth.

"This is a critical time for families struggling to afford college while dealing with a challenging economy," said Representative Bradford. "I look forward to working with my colleagues to help ensure that a higher education is both affordable and accessible to all Pennsylvania students and families."

Representative Bradford earned his undergraduate and Law degrees from Villanova University.

Representative Bradford was first elected to the House in 2008. He resides in Worcester Township with his wife and three children.
