PHEAA to Host 2-Day Job Fair in April

Customer service and collection call center positions available

Harrisburg, PA (April 21, 2010) - The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) announced today that it will hold a 2-day job fair at its headquarters building at 1200 North 7th Street in Harrisburg.

PHEAA has approximately 150 immediate full-time and summer position openings in its customer service and collection call centers at its Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg locations. These positions are entry-level wage positions, paying $11 per hour and will include full-training.

Interested candidates are welcome on:

  • Wednesday, April 28, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Thursday, April 29, from 1 PM to 7 PM

Available customer service call center positions involve responding to in-bound calls and follow-up regarding student loan accounts. Collection positions work with delinquent customers as a result of customer contact. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service experience and Spanish language skills are a plus.
